We were starving after hiking first thing in the morning so we enjoyed a huge lunch: minestrone soup, salad, spaghetti aglio e olio and ribeye. I fell in love with the aglio e olio and would also recommend the minestrone soup. The salad and the ribeye were good but not something I would rave about. We returned for dinner and ordered take out: aglio e olio and arrabbiata. Both were delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food. A pizza was 8 euros and a pasta as 9 Euros.
We enjoyed a nice balcony view with the kids and all was well. The waitress was nice and patient and spoke English, German and Italian.
The pizza was thin but still chewy with a sauce that was well balanced.
The pasta was al dente and spicy.
The Spätzle was creamy and tasted homemade.
For dessert we had the Panna Cotta and the chocolate mousse. The the mousse was my favorite and it was served with a contrasting strawberry and I i think vanilla sauce.
If you have kids this was place was good. Also they take credit card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate here three times for dinner during our stay. Fast and friendly service, large portions at good prices. Came in without reservations each time, although on Friday night we got there right as they opened and it got packed quickly. Make a reservation if possible. Pasta carbonara and spatzel were among the favorite dishes. The meat platter for 50 euro for two people was also good, and we did not finish it between three people.
