★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the friendly waitress Hilary, she was the perfect hostess and made our evening meal very happy. The food was very yummy, and we were spoiled with complimentary after dinner drinks and dessert as we were celebrating a birthday. Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere, enjoyed the background vibes playing and generally a very happy and pleasant meal. Will deffo return tomorrow be day and recommend ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good. Service is the worst I have experienced in a long time... waiters were very slow, looked rather like customers than waiters. They were not wearing masks properly, were forgoing orders (table next to us waited almost an hour for their pizza and pasta as waiters forgot about the order), at some point they disappeared for about 15 min and there was no one else to assist customers. Generally would recommend for food and fair pricing, but not the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever. After 15 minutes we ordered drinks, they brought them without glasses. After 25 minutes we ordered salad, they brought without fork. 4 different tables were seated after us, but their food was served far earlier than us. I asked the waitress about this and she was really rude with the excuse that they were late because we wanted to have the salad first. No one has apologised to us. I asked for the manager but they told me he is not in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend to choose the 10€ menu. It is not shown in the menu, but it is on a board. It offers a full italian experience - bruschetta, pizza and desert (pana cota or tiramisu) and water. Very cheap, good food and fast service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gluten-free meal was possible, I had a delicious seafood salad and Panna Cotta for dessert. My husband had a meal of Cannoli, that looked amazing; it's stuffed pasta tubes. He said it was extremely delicious. We shared 2 side dishes of grilled vegetable and a Roman Artichoke.
Our friends have the ravioli. The portions looked small, but they also had a mixed vegetable salad. The tiramasu desert was ordered by someone at our table and the portion was generous. I wanted gelato but they had run out. To apologize for the lack of gelato, they gave us all a drink of liqueur.
The waiter was friendly and gave us some Italian food lessons.
The decor was great. We entered the restaurant down about 10 steps and felt like we were dining in an old cellar. That was fun.
Non-pretentious service and the prices were excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service, although slow, was not at all as bad as the food. Pasta was edible, but some plates were drowning in bland sauce and the pasta was a little over cooked. The pizza was poor. And the calzone was inedible, first undercooked and then burnt. Cheap and cheerful could be the expression for here. ..but it wasnt even that cheap. The space was nice. The wine was nice. And maybe it deserves 2 stars…but for the calzone disaster.
