★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fun place this was. We were on a tour into Cortina from Austria so we could see Lake Misurina and Tre Croci Pass. We could almost 'feel' Italy when we crossed the border, so this lovely little Italian restaurant seemed like the perfect fit. It was! We had some wonderful Calzoni, paired with a nice white wine. They grow their own grapes, so the wine is family produced. Friendly, efficient service and generous portions.
Restooms are downstairs and parking is across the street. Both are free.
Seasonal closures from early June to early July, and in November. During the off-season the restaurant is closed on Thursdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in with my 2 kids. We asked for a table of 5. The restaurant was empty. The woman at the bar looked at me and very rudely said we had no tables. The restaurant was still empty. No other excuse, just pure racism, because we are not Italians. Incredible

We arrived around 7:15PM, the restaurant was as literally empty, we were promptly seated. The restaurant got full in the following 15 minutes.
I had the caprese salad, and the meat/truffle pasta, ending with the reversed cappuccino. Everything was tasty! I took a glass of white wine for starter and red for my main dish and they both good.
Perhaps very surprisingly, the service was friendly (not often in Italy) and fast! We oftentimes don’t go to restaurants because we don’t want to spend 2 hours on a meal. This place made it as quick as you want.
