★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very affordable spot for travelers on a budget but still looking for a good meal. The lasagne with bolognese and the pizza was very good! It does get very hot if you sit upstairs so dress light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good choice for having a classic Italian pizza, with lots of different pizzas in the menu, fast and friendly service, cousy interior and just on the outskirts of the main centre. Open also during off-season. No parking in front of the restaurant.

The pizza’s were allright, a little thick but fresh dough. The ingredients weren’t all fresh (clearly canned mushrooms and artichokes) but it was plenty.
Service was rather dull, wasn’t too welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasteful dish with gnocchi and speck. White home wine delicious. Lasagna was also very good but portion a bit too small in my opinion. Tiramisu was one of the best in Cortina. I'm giving only 4 stars because of the prices but its common in each restaurant in Cortina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only three stars because I expected a little more than what I got. I have ordered a schnitzel, it tasted good but with a little bit more vegetables decorating or whatsoever it would be nicer (even in Munich, I think I got more for the price, French fried or salad ). All in all, it was ok. The “Holzfäller Teller „ was good but normally if you read the name “Holzfäller….“ you‘d expect an enormous amount of food…. well, maybe the Holzfäller doesn’t have to work so hard there.
