A due passi dal centro storico, in una zona tranquilla ed elegante. Consigliatissimo. Filippo and Donatella are extremely friendly and helpful, the apartment is very nice and bright, very wide, suitable for groups or large families. A stone's throw from the historic center, in a quiet and elegant area. Highly recommended.

Amicaux et bienveillants, ils ont tout au long de notre séjour veillé à notre bien-être. Un vrai bonheur pour nous. L'appartement est parfaitement situé, on trouve tout à côté. C'est à 15 min à pied du Ponte Vecchio ou 5 min en vélo. Il y a un supermarché à 200m, le tram à 8 min, des restaurants et bar (épargnés des touristes) dans la zone, un cinéma en plein air (Gladiator en Italien, mémorable), un parc gigantesque pour le sport ou aller à la piscine (Le pavoniere), etc. L'appartement est maintenu propre en permanence, il est silencieux (j'ai pu faire du télétravail dans le salon au calme), spacieux. La cuisine est bien équipé. Et la chambre a été notre cocon durant ce séjour où nous avons pu nous reposer des longues heures passées à explorer l'Italie. Si vous cherchez un bel endroit confortable pour votre séjour, vous avez certainement trouvé ;) From the start Filippo and Donatella made a good impression on us with their responsiveness when we made our reservation. Friendly and caring, they took care of our well-being throughout our stay. A real happiness for us. The apartment is perfectly located, we find everything next door. It's a 15 min walk from Ponte Vecchio or 5 min by bike. There is a supermarket 200m away, the tram 8 min away, restaurants and bar (spared from tourists) in the area, an open-air cinema (Gladiator in Italian, memorable), a gigantic park for sports or going to the beach. swimming pool (Le pavoniere), etc. The apartment is kept clean at all times, it is quiet (I was able to telecommute in the quiet living room), spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. And the room was our cocoon during this stay where we were able to rest from the long hours spent exploring Italy. Grazie mille ancora per tutti Donatella e Filippo! If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay, you have certainly found it;)

Deux hôtes formidables, qui nous ont accueillis en prenant le temps de nous présenter le logement, les activités et les lieux à visiter sur Florence. Tout le long du séjour Filippo et Donatella sont restés à notre écoute. Nous recommandons sans hésiter leur logement. Toujours très propres, nettoyés avec assiduité par Donatella tous les deux jours. Notre chambre disposait d'un balcon sur cours intérieure, celui-ci était donc très calme. Le logement est idéalement situé, nous allions régulièrement au centre ville à pied ou à vélo. Tout près se trouvent de très bons restaurants et une guinguette avec une bonne ambiance. Encore merci pour se séjour d'un mois ! We had a great stay in the Oltr'arno residence of Filippo and Donatella. Two wonderful hosts, who welcomed us by taking the time to introduce us to accommodation, activities and places to visit in Florence. Throughout the stay Filippo and Donatella were attentive to our needs. We definitely recommend their accommodation. Always very clean, diligently cleaned by Donatella every other day. Our room had a balcony facing the interior courtyard, so it was very quiet. The accommodation is ideally located, we went regularly to the city center on foot or by bike. Very close by are very good restaurants and a tavern with a good atmosphere. Thank you again for staying a month!
g	gianmaria mussio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buyer beware, the advertising between Residenza and Expedia set up is outright confusing and DECEITFUL Though Expedia falsely advertises "free cancellation" the fine print which follows as you reserve then seems designed to lure you and stick you with a one night penalty if you cancel. The owner agrees with my reading. However, their system set up does not. Their ad primarily says boldly "free cancellation" while then the fine print and their automated system says the opposite. I cancelled well before the deadline and got one nite penalty notices. Of course it may be that there is an unintended quirk in their system. Or miscommunication between Residenza and Expedia. I hope that they take are of the inconsistency, otherwise see below the excerpt from Expedia response which contradicts the advertised words and which if not corrected eventually will land both Expedia and Residenza in court: "We checked the cancellation and change policy of your reservation states that: - "Cancellations or changes made before 11:59 PM local hotel time, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 are subject to a hotel fee equal to 1 night plus taxes and fees." Expedia is subject to the rules and restrictions of the vendors whose services we sell. We act only as an agent for their product and do not have the authority to override or to change their policies."

With a supermarket, and a cool little bar with live music right across the street - Its a perfect combo between quiet and bustle. With a short walk, you have all of what Florence has to offer. Filippo is a great host, he's hands you the keys, and you don't see him till check out. He's also very helpful. If you have a large party, this is the place to rent - hands down. I'll probably be back next year, or the year after.

Very tasty breakfast with two pastries included at Pegasus down the road. Food at recommended restaurant also excellent and not too expensive. Apartment spacious with all we needed and good air conditioning in the room. A short but good stay in Florence.

He ensured to give us the best suggestions to modify our itinerary for us to experience the best of Florence. The apartment is spacious, attractive, well maintained and has an authentic rustic Florentine vibe to it. It is located in one of the four main areas of Florence. It has a grocery, cafe, bar, array of restaurants/eateries, bus stop and pharmacy at a stone's throw away. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well stocked up with crockery and cooking utensils. There are antiques and rustic furniture which give the apartment a very homely and warm feeling. Bathrooms are spacious, have a geyser and are stocked up well with kitchen utilities. We encountered a taxi strike when we landed and Filippo was kind to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night as we were to be picked up by a taxi which went bust due to the strike. We were really happy with our experience due to the amazing rooms and friendly host.
