Beautiful hikes, stunning scenery, gracious stuff, best food in a week in sicily (and that's saying something) all prepared on site, beautiful rooms and architecture and a lovely well behaved St Bernard who welcomes guests! For an added bonus, try to spot the wild boar who occasionally roam onto the grounds.

Wonderful place in the woods, excellent host and staff, delicious food and wine! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful garden, good starting point for hiking in the Nebrodian forests.
We were so sorry for not speaking the beautiful italian language, as the host was so eager to talk to us (and we to him), but had to talk through his employees. Still, that worked just fine.
We had standard double rooms with mountain (Etna) view, we would recommend to choose a larger room, even if the standard rooms were just fine.
The restaurant makes the trip worth while, an impressive walk-through of the highland Sicilian kitchen. The chef Claudio excelled in his kitchen, serving one dish better than the other. The host excelled with his knowledge of Sicilian and other italian wines.
