★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the mixed appetizer plate to start and shared it in two - a really nice mix of foods from the Liguria region. If you want a sample of everything, then I recommend this. Later we had pasta dishes - one with pesto, the other with fresh anchovies. The pesto was rich and flavourable, with the pasta cooked the way I like - al dente. The anchovy dish was lighter, with just the right about of flavour. I liked that it didn't taste too fishy, as the anchovies were fresh. Towards the end, I added a little more olive oil to it, not because it needed it but because I love the taste of good Ligurian olive oil. The beer on tap was similar to a pale ale, hoppy and crisp and a bit strong too. Overall it was an enjoyable lunch that warranted a good nap afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place in the center of the town managed by young and active people. The food is delicious and staff is friendly and can really help you in case of need. Antipasto misto, spaghetti with pesto and their peach pie are worth the visit. Squid is also cooked very qell. Will get back there if we can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stuff! We didn't get a table so we took some take-outs. The food was delicious (out little one ate every bit of his (way too big portion of) pasta and asked for more) and ridiculously cheap (we paid 25 euros for 3 main dishes). The place itself seems to be very nice. Maybe not Covid compatible, but the food was more than delicious and the waiters dealing with us more than friendly. Food wise this place was a wonderful (lucky) discovery and has to be absolutely recommended!

Every time I spend my mountainbike holidays in Ligurua it's a must for me to get at least a dinner in Osteria Grotesque ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent. Fred ingredients and all freshly made (which does not seem always the case in restaurants in the same town but located along the beach).
Service was impeccable.
Food was delicious. Freshest and most tasty zucchini I've tried in a long time.
They accommodate for allergies and also have different vegetarian options.
The place is small with a few tables inside and outside.
The pasta dishes were excellent and the cake was good.
Will certainly come back and recommend.
