 The castle is truly well preserved. At least so it appears from the outside. It cannot be visited as private property.

Svetta sulla valle e sovrasta il borgo di Sarentino.
Essendo privato non lo si può visitare all'interno, ma ci si può arrivare percorrendo una comoda strada asfaltata e si può fare il giro circolare attorno a esso.
Very beautifull.
It rises above the valley and overlooks the village of Sarentino.
Being private you cannot visit it inside, but you can get there by following a comfortable asphalted road and you can make the circular tour around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È uno storico castello ( risale almeno al 1263) che domina il paese di Sarentino.
Costruito probabilmente su strutture difensive molto più antiche ( ci sono diverse leggende abbinate ), ha mantenuto il suo aspetto originario.
Pare si caratterizzasse dall'avere al piano terra un'unica enorme sala , sorretta da colonne gotiche.
Nella sua cappella ci sono preziosi affreschi.
Nel 2015, purtroppo, una parte delle mura di cinta è crollato improvvisamente.
Privato, non è visitabile.
It is a historic castle (dating back to at least 1263) which dominates the town of Sarentino.
Probably built on much older defensive structures (there are several legends associated), it has kept its original appearance.
It seems to be characterized by having on the ground floor a single enormous room, supported by Gothic columns.
In his chapel there are precious frescoes.
In 2015, unfortunately, a part of the city walls suddenly collapsed.
Private, it cannot be visited.
