Regina Margherita Bed and Breakfast & Solarium

Pessimo. Sconsigliatissimo. Struttura non curata sia negli spazi comuni (immondizia nel corridoio, ma veramente?) e sia nelle camere. Camera King vista mare (la più costosa) mancavano le tende perché "a lavare", cambiando stanza non funzionavano le tapparelle. Che me ne faccio della vista mare se sono costretto a tenere tutto chiuso per non essere visibile agli occhi di tutti in strada? Durante il sabato sera vengono organizzate delle serate in terrazza aperte a tutti, le camere però non sono insonorizzate e non si riesce a dormire. Minibar vuoto, con nemmeno una bottiglietta d'acqua. Tanto vale toglierlo. Prenotazione su Booking cancellata """per errore""" nonostante fossi in struttura. Timore della recensione? Proprietario maleducato e molto sgarbato, non accetta critiche e si permette di offendere gli ospiti anziché scusarsi per i disagi creati. Il rapporto col pubblico non è per tutti.

Very nice place

I never thought I'd ever have the experience of sleeping right under a dance floor. I now have. It wasn't great. The location is good. Close to the old city and free parking in the street. (or paid with the accommodation. The fee wasn't advertised with the mentioning of a parking spot.) The room was quite big, so was the bathroom. Lovely high ceiling as well. To bad that on top of that ceiling there wasn't a nice roof terrace with deck chairs as advertised in the pictures. Instead, there's a private club with live music (the first night) or DJ's (our second night). Our room was right under the wooden dance floor. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Oh, also imagine the hallway doesn't have doors, so drunk people from the bar wander around to feed their curiosity. (and/or do other things. Again, your imagination will do fine. It wasn't quiet, I'll give you that) We didn't have to be afraid to oversleep, since in the morning, hordes of students are chatting in the street in front of the school on the other side of the road. Early breakfast then. Apparently the breakfast we paid seperately consisted of one piece of pastry and a drink (coffee/tea/..) in the ice cream salon on the ground floor. Would've been cheaper to just buy it there. Communication was fine. Only saw staff once, at the end of our stay. To accept our payment. No smile, no friendly words. I get why they didn't ask whether we liked our stay (don't wake sleeping dogs...); but just a friendly face would've made some difference. Two stars for location and comfortable bed. Roof terrace is a bar and not accessible during the day. (so no view. No sun. No just sitting outside). WiFi didn't work. (as in: there wasn't even a WiFi signal).

Definitely one of the worst stays in our life. The room we booked was under the dancing floor. And on friday, there was a loud music, dancing etc. till late night. It was almost like to be on the disco but really don't want it. We heard everything properly and it was impossible to fall asleep. We tried to concat the manager of the hotel (from 11 pm) but nobody even care to take the phone call or answer to our messeges. And it stayed that way. Nobody even said "we are sorry". The worst experience, definetely not worth the money.

Dance floor right on top of the bedrooms!! Went there for a good rest before an early trip and ended up with a sleepless night. Is this allowed to be? Plus no kettle provided in room neither. All I got was a 'sorry"
