L	Lauren Parkes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor lobby staff. Did not offer us a welcome drink. Rarely even said hello. This hotel says they have parking and to being your car to the front door, but all the streets leading to it are pedestrian only streets. There is no way to get to it by car. Impossible to use their "valet." They eventually admitted no one uses it after we asked multiple times how it is possible to do. The room is okay. There is only a top sheet on the beds. No duvet or comforter. The mattress and pillows are good. The shower is great. There is a make up mirror but it is about a foot too high and I am 5'10" so I cannot imagine how shorter women could possibly use it. It does not have an arm to move it lower. There is no where to hang up dresses or suits. There are hangers, but shelves are in the way so you can only hang up things that are about 2 feet long. Cleaning staff did a great job. All in all, not a great experience. I wish we stayed somewhere else. There was a hotel outside of the city that looked beautiful. Wish we stayed there.
E	Ellen Warner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent three nights in this perfectly located hotel. The location is truly five star, and the property is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This hotel shares a courtyard with another more basic and more modest hotel, which is a bit unusual but not bad. Our room was very generous in size and very comfortable and quiet, facing into the courtyard. The bathroom was also generous in size, although the bath products are limited to one multi purpose liquid cleanser. Our room reservation included one hour in the spa area (small pool with sauna and steam room) only between 8-9p, so we did not use this amenity and it also included a generous and tasty buffet breakfast. Staff members were very friendly. I would stay here again, primarily because of the great central location.
J	Jane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful building full of atmosphere. Loved the courtyard and that our room had its own staircase and a little terrace. The aircon was effective and quiet in the bedroom. The bed and furniture were comfortable. We had a room upgrade which was nice so had lots of space. The breakfast was varied and high quality, everything fresh. Service was quick and very polite and helpful. Chose this hotel because it has a swimming pool but turned out this wasn’t available to guests unless using the spa treatments so this was disappointing. The lighting in the room was poor in fact we had three rooms in the suite and there was little natural light and nowhere to sit where you had enough light to read in any of the rooms. A minor detail but probably easy to put right.

They seem to think that keeping our $1500 without providing any service is a great bonus and bonanza for them. They appear oblivious to the injury caused by bad reviews online, the amount of business that will be scared away, not to mention being excluded from some premier travel sites because of this unfair business practice. I will keep asking, inviting them to do the right thing. Still awaiting a COVID-related refund in excess of $1500.00 US from the hotel. Having closed due to the pandemic, they have refused to refund my family’s money and insist we accept a credit for some future stay. It has been over a year. Having received full and immediate refunds from every other business, hotel, airline, and train throughout Italy and Europe, the Quintocanto is an outlier, unreliable and unprofessional. We await a full refund now that they are open and hosting guests and apparently have revenue. It is sadly unfortunate that this particular hotel in such a beautiful city treats people so poorly, unjustly retains funds for services they never provided, and has no ethical standards. I cannot recommend them.
P	Pier Sing on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ best location to be in palermo if u are a tourist. room was big, very modern and functional and clean. nice bathroom. not very bright as it was facing inner courtyard where on the ground floor theres their restaurant, so was bit noisy till around midnight but not a major issue at all. professional staff. they take care of your car.
C	Cristina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived late in Palermo, looking for accommodation for me and my dog. This gorgeous hotel in a beautiful palazzo with courtyard was a great surprise. Not only the place was lovely, but a particular mention to the staff, a team of young professionals that were super attentive and especially welcoming to travelers with dogs. Thoroughly recommended.
E	Elpiniki Tsakalaki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only the location is good. The room was quite dark with insufficient lighting. The windows are so old that fail to close well and cold comes in. The light of a walk-in closet that turns off by itself, unnecessarily blinks annoyingly and loud for quite some time before turning off. The walls are dirty. The whole room smells very weird/bad. The spa facility comes at an extra high price. The room service did not come in the first day of our stay and the room was not cleaned.
A	Ara' on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been there during new years eve, for 2 nights. I am a bit disappointed. Way too much money for a deluxe room that was big but just that. For the rest was quite standard and not so clean, with small mosquitoes all over the place. The SPA is not working well, half of the things inside do not work, the pool is full of foam and the sauna is not hot enough. The staff is a bit sleepy, nobody asked if my stay was good, bad or whatsoever... If I needed indications, help or anything. Position is top but in the end I am not happy for the services I have received. I travel in many places and sleep in many hotels and definitively this is not a 4 stars hotel. :)
