Incredible view and perfect slopes to get back to the Sella Ronda. The lift to get to the top however can be very crowded in high season. Even in low season on a sunny day you could be surprised with a queue of one hour. Is it worth the wait? I think it is.

Great view on top of Marmolada's highest gondola station. There is a very long sky slope to the bottom of the valley with 1800 meters height difference

This is where you buy the tickets up the mountains, don't get confused with other places on the map! Cost around 33 eur all the way up. Definitely worth it!!

What A Tourist Trap . . The long queue for the cable car was UNBELIEVABLE. . On a sunny winter afternoon in February, skiing down the piste hoping to take this cable car back up. Starting from the bottom of the piste to the entrance of the cable cars, there must have been hundreds of unsuspecting skiers being trapped at the never-ending queue to try to get back up to the ski slope. Though moving, the queue was over 2 hours+. . Some desperate skiers even chose to walk back up the slope instead of waiting. The alternative was to pay for taxis to be taken to the next ski-lift. Even that, the taxi queue was over an hour long. Speaking to experienced skiers afterward, apparently this situation is well known in the Dolomoti Superski area and it happens daily. All this could have been easily resolved by organizing extra ski buses to take skiers to the next ski life’s. Instead, they let skiers into this trap without any pre-warning. What a shame. .
