★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pur essendo probabilmente il viaggio in funivia verso il punto panoramico più mozzafiato delle Dolomiti che abbia mai visitato, mi sento di segnalare come unica pecca a questa esperienza di risalita la mancanza in biglietteria di una fila differenziata per persone a mobilità ridotta (che includa, oltre a disabili e temporaneamente invalidi, anche persone palesemente in difficoltà nel fare una coda di mezz'ora se non di più in certi orari del giorno: gravide, anziani, ecc) che costringe a sfidare la folla acefala per intrufolarsi a chiedere (alla peraltro gentilissima impiegata) di poter avere una priorità senza essere sbranati. Questa volta mi è andata bene. Esibendo il certificato di invalidità civile si ha uno sconto, nessuna agevolazione per l'eventuale accompagnatore. Siamo nel 2021, possibile che a parte qualche supermercato e la svedese IKEA non possiamo adottare minime accortezze per agevolare chi è un po' in difficoltà con le gambe ma vuole comunque godere della bellezza della natura e della montagna alta?
Although it is probably the cable car trip to the most breathtaking viewpoint of the Dolomites I have ever visited, I would like to point out the lack of a separate queue for people with reduced mobility at the ticket office as the only flaw in this ascent experience (which includes, in addition to to disabled and temporarily disabled people, even people clearly in difficulty in queuing for half an hour if not more at certain times of the day: pregnant, elderly, etc.) which forces them to challenge the headless crowd to sneak in to ask (the very kind employee) to be able to have a priority without being torn apart. This time it worked out for me. By showing the certificate of civil disability you have a discount, no concessions for the accompanying person. We are in 2021, is it possible that apart from some supermarkets and the Swedish IKEA we cannot take minimal precautions to facilitate those who are a little in trouble with their legs but still want to enjoy the beauty of nature and the high mountain?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those coming from Alta Badia ski area it is a good starting point for the epic Sella Ronda route. Boe gondola is ready to take you upstairs ? There are a few parking lots nearby, costs 5 EUR day at the time of posting.
