Very nice sandy beach and clean water. The highlight was the reef some 50 meters into the water with many different fish. However you need to bring an umbrella or pay for one as there is no shadow. The turtle center is open between 3 and 4 pm, however we were a bit disapointed as it was just 3 basins of water with a rescued turtle in each of them. We expected at least some info signs about the turtles living in the area...

Beautiful beach, with umbrellas and beach chairs, toilet facilities. Bar with drinks, ice-cream, snack and basic sandwiches, not really tasty but handy to have available since there's nothing else around. The girl at the till could learn to be a bit more friendly.

If you are staying in villages on the coast, like Torre Santa Sabina it’s no point going to this beach. It’s not much different in sea quality but to get there is quite a chore. You have to park your car at a remote parking place. Then wait for a train that is a shabby old running on diesel (what happened to protecting the environment?!). We had to wait about 30 min. Because there’s only one. Then you walk to the beach. On the way back there’s of course too many people and you have to wait for the second train. Ie not worth the hassle.

Spotless beach, crystal clear warm water, lovely kiosk, excellent wheel chair access and facilities. Secure parking option nearby with a train/shuttle leaving to and from the beach every 10 minutes

Nice beach, but no bar/restaurant nearby. Very popular with the locals and can get crowded at weekends - good atmosphere though!

Maybe few know that naturalists classify it as one of the top 10 nature reserves in the world. Recently, I snorkelled in its waters and found myself literally surrounded by fish as if I were swimming in a tropical sea. Absolutely amazing.

If you are willing to spend some time isolated with the nature, this is not the place to go. Although the beach is part of a protected area, it became so popular that it's way overcrowded. You have to walk from the parking lot or take the shuttle train to reach it (unless you are one of the jerks that drive into the forbidden area). The natural sand dunes with the typical vegetation and the light blue waters are nice, but you will not be able to see much of them as they are covered with people, at least it the high season anyway....

Beautiful place, worthy to visit. We left a car ar the north parking - 5 € per dat, took a train to the beach and then walked to the Torre. There were not many people although it was Sunday (but mid September). Don’t forget to take drinks and food with you if you don’t want to spend the day near the main beach. There are no other bars there.
