Pensavo che le scuole materne "intrattenessero" i bambini cercando di fare trascorrere piacevolmente la giornata e, addirittura, qualche istituto si limitasse a "posteggiare" i bambini in attesa che i genitori ritornassero a prenderli, ma mi sbagliavo: la scuola materna è davvero una scuola e i bambini imparano divertendosi.

I thought kindergartens "entertained" the children trying to make the day pleasantly spent, and even some institutes simply "parked" the children waiting for the parents to come back to pick them up, but I was wrong: the kindergarten is really a school and the children learn while having fun.
