★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded but still fast service. Dog not allowed sign is to be ignored. I couldn't let my dog in the car for 30 minutes because he would die so I took him in to the terminal and the check in, there where more dogs in the terminal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is supposed to be one of the biggest ports in Italy, yet the infrastructure is really low level in my opinion. Here are some problems you'll come across:
- During high season the parking lot is almost always full.
- The amenities offered are the bare minimum.
- Only few of the employees speak English
- The roads around the port are poorly maintained and full of holes and bumps
- There are very few shops and no proper place to have something to eat
