Tra la radice del molo nord e lo scalo d'alaggio si trova la Banchina del Mercato del Pesce, mentre tra lo scalo d'alaggio e la radice del molo sud si estende una Banchina di Riva. A sud dello scalo d'alaggio è stata realizzata la nuova Darsena Turistica con pontili nel suo interno. Due sono le banchine destinate alla pesca, lunghe 80 e 1100 m ed illuminate da torri faro. L'imboccatura del porto è rivolta a nord. Possiede circa 380 posti barca, le imbarcazioni devono avere una lunghezza massima di 25 metri. Il porto ospita una cospicua flotta di pescherecci e, dopo Ancona, è il primo porto peschereccio delle Marche per TSL e per numero di pescherecci. Secondo la classificazione nazionale dei porti italiani, quello di San Benedetto del Tronto in virtù del regio decreto n. 71 del 10 gennaio 1907 e del decreto ministeriale n. 1775 del 21 agosto 1975 è un porto di 2ª categoria, 1ª classe. The port of San Benedetto del Tronto is an important fishing center made up of a fully quayed North Pier and a three-branched South Pier. Between the root of the north pier and the slipway there is the Banchina del Mercato del Pesce, while between the slipway and the root of the south pier extends a Quay of Riva. To the south of the slipway, the new Tourist Dock was built with piers inside. There are two docks for fishing, 80 and 1100 m long and illuminated by light towers. The harbor entrance faces north. It has about 380 berths, the boats must have a maximum length of 25 meters. The port is home to a large fleet of fishing boats and, after Ancona, is the first fishing port in the Marche for GRT and number of fishing boats.
