E’ caratterizzato da un importante muro di protezione rivolto verso nord ed offre riparo soprattutto ad imbarcazioni a pescaggio ridotto. La zona è caratterizzata da venti termici pomeridiani da sud, che possono raggiungere un’intensità media di 8/10 nodi. Durante le prime ore del mattino, può soffiare un vento da nord (Tivano) che raggiunge talvolta una notevole forza. In concomitanza di temporali sull'alto lago soffiano venti da nord di forte intensità. Cospicuo l’edificio bianco a nord del molo. 200 metri a nord del porto si trova l’attracco della navigazione. In avvicinamento da sud il porto è visibile solo quando si supera la foce del torrente Zerbo, in prossimità della quale sono segnalati bassi fondali. All'ingresso tenersi a sinistra del cartello rosso che indica il divieto di pesca. L’imboccatura del porto e la ridotta dimensione dello stesso fanno di questo attracco una scelta di ripiego. Venti da sud possono creare risacca all'imboccatura e le dimensioni non consentono manovre agevoli. In caso di necessità fare riferimento alle vicine strutture di Mandello del Lario o di Lecco. A sud del paese si trova il porticciolo pubblico “La Rosa” che offre una decina di posti barca e un buon ridosso in caso di vento da nord, risultando invece esposto a sud. Ormeggi in concessione: 13 in acqua, 12 in gradinata. The port of Abbadia Lariana is located along the lakeside promenade. It is characterized by an important protective wall facing north and offers shelter especially to boats with a reduced draft. The area is characterized by afternoon thermal winds from the south, which can reach an average intensity of 8/10 knots. During the early hours of the morning, a north wind (Tivano) can blow which sometimes reaches a considerable strength. In conjunction with thunderstorms on the upper lake, strong winds blow from the north. The white building north of the pier is conspicuous. 200 meters north of the port is the navigation dock. Approaching from the south, the port is visible only when you pass the mouth of the Zerbo stream, near which shallow waters are reported. At the entrance, keep to the left of the red sign indicating the prohibition of fishing. The mouth of the port and the small size of the same make this dock a makeshift choice. Winds from the south can create undertow at the mouth and the dimensions do not allow easy maneuvers. In case of need, refer to the nearby facilities in Mandello del Lario or Lecco. To the south of the town is the public port “La Rosa” which offers a dozen berths and a good shelter in the event of a north wind, being instead exposed to the south.
