Prestare attenzione a non confondere il porto in esame con gli attracchi per barche di pescatori posti in prossimità del pontile della Navigazione, qualche centinaio di metri più a sud. Sulla zona soffiano in maniera irregolare brezze termiche pomeridiane dai quadranti meridionali, la cui intensità non supera normalmente gli 8 nodi. Durante la prime ore del mattino può soffiare sulla zona un vento da nord che raggiunge un’intensità di 10 nodi. In concomitanza di temporali possono verificarsi venti forti di direzione variabile. La posizione ridossata del porto non ne favorisce la visibilità. In avvicinamento da nord, il porto è visibile solo quando è stata superata la foce del torrente, da cui occorre rimanere discosti per la presenza di bassi fondali. In avvicinamento da sud, un punto di riferimento è il pontile della Navigazione, posto circa 200 metri a sud. Venti meridionali possono creare una fastidiosa risacca in prossimità dell’imboccatura. Caratteristiche del porto: il porto è ben protetto da un ampio muraglione perdonabile. 15 ormeggi in concessione in trappa, 22 in gradinata.
