★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il ponte di Failla è un caratteristico ponte medievale a schiena d'asino, di probabile epoca normanna, dal momento che garantiva il passaggio del fiume Troina-Serravalle (all'epoca l'alto corso del Simeto) alla direttrice stradale (nota dalle fonti come basiliké odós o regia via) che collegava Troina, capitale normanna, a S. Marco d'Alunzio, importante roccaforte, attraversando i boschi dei Nebrodi.
The bridge of Failla is a characteristic medieval hump-back bridge, probably of the Norman period, since it guaranteed the passage of the river Troina-Serravalle (at the time the high course of the Simeto) to the road director (note from sources how basiliké odós or regia via) which connected Troina, the Norman capital, to S. Marco d'Alunzio, an important stronghold, crossing the Nebrodi woods.
