The place immersed in the woods is very beautiful. Inaccurate information to get there (from Google, or you get lost in the geolocation), pay attention to the brown signs, turn where you read both directions for the bridge and the catacomb, from there it is easier. Bumpy road in the initial stretch, then good.

Ponte della via Flaminia, over a stream now dry. Interesting is the wall texture of the arch, partly uneven but still intact, and the might of the shoulders.

Roman bridge in almost perfect condition, with an innovative and still very current architectural design. I strongly suggest to visit it to those who pass near Massa Martana or Acquasparta

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allora.
Then.
Follow maps to get there but leave it as soon as you see the signs, as maps will take you (I don't know why) a longer way.
Apart from that it is essentially just a tunnel, suggestive considering the era in which it was built but nothing special.
A few steps away there are catacombs (these are also marked by signs) but you must first call the municipality to visit them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roman bridge 2200 years old. In the middle of the countryside, no facilities for anything. But superb in itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful engineering. Level of quality and the fact that it is still standing make me respect the amazing level of Roman engineering even more. And this is 'just' a bridge in the countryside...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well off the track , but accessible and well signposted from the road, one needs to descend to view this Roman bridge built on the ancient Via Flaminia. The 8m arch of large hewn stones is still intact and has integrity without mortar. If you look closely, the numbers (Roman numerals of course) are still visible to assist them in putting the arch together

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bridge is easily reachable from the main E45 road. From the Massa Martana turnoff it is perhaps five minutes drive, the last section a dirt road. There are no facilities here and usually no people. The bridge is very impressive as a work of engineering and the peaceful location is a great place to take a break.
