The view is great .. It has a very nice fresh air ..... it is even more enjoyable to find a suitable parking place for your car and get around .... do not get lost in the forest area. ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima diga incastonata tra le montagne del parco Alto Garda Bresciano che ha dato origine al lago artificiale di Valvestino. La si può ammirare da vicino da entrambi i lati ma purtroppo l'accesso al pubblico è vietato quindi non si può passeggiare lungo la corona ma merita comunque di essere vista
Beautiful dam set in the mountains of the Alto Garda Bresciano park which gave rise to the artificial lake of Valvestino. You can admire it up close from both sides but unfortunately access to the public is forbidden so you cannot walk along the crown but it still deserves to be seen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita nel 1962, è lunga 283 metri ed è situata a 500 metri s.l.m. nel comune Gargnano; in seguito alla sua costruzione nasce il Lago artificiale di Valvestino, alimentato dai Torrenti Droanello e Toscolano.
Bellissima la strada (SP9) per arrivarci, come meravigliosi sono i panorami.
Built in 1962, it is 283 meters long and is located 500 meters above sea level. in the municipality of Gargnano; following its construction, the artificial lake of Valvestino was born, fed by the Droanello and Toscolano streams.
The road (SP9) to get there is beautiful, as are the views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Strecke entlang der SP9 ist kurvenreich aber gut zu befahren. Viele Motorradfahrer sind hier unterwegs. Der Staudamm gibt es seit 1962 und hat fjordartige Arme. Es gibt keine größeren Siedlungen entlang der Straße bzw. des Stausees, daher wirkt die Gegend wild und unentdeckt.
The route along the SP9 is winding but easy to navigate. Many motorcyclists are traveling here. The dam has existed since 1962 and has fjord-like arms. There are no major settlements along the road or reservoir, so the area looks wild and undiscovered.
