★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartamento confortable, no dudeis en visitar la carcel ya que apenas esta a 500 metros o si sois futboleros podreis disfrutar del bar de los Ultras de Palermo que esta situado justo debajo del apartamento.
Comfortable apartment, do not hesitate to visit the jail since it is barely 500 meters away or if you are football players you can enjoy the bar of the Ultras of Palermo that is located just below the apartment.

Mi sento di suggerire questa sistemazione a chiunque voglia permanere a Palermo in uno dei quartieri storici più caratteristici della città a pochi passi dal centro.
The owner is a sensitive and courteous person, a man of other times who makes his guests feel as if they were at home.
I would like to suggest this accommodation to anyone who wants to stay in Palermo in one of the most characteristic historic districts of the city a few steps from the center.

L'accueil est chaleureux. Les hôtes se font un plaisir de vous indiquer des lieux pour vous faire découvrir leur ville qu'ils connaissent bien.
L'immeuble est sécurisé, propre et entretenu.
Parking gratuit dans la rue ou alentours proches.
Nice apartment, clean and maintained, air conditioned, in a quiet street of Palermo close to the main tourist sites.
The welcome is warm. The hosts are happy to show you places to make you discover their city they know well.
The building is secure, clean and maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho alloggiato poco prima del covid. Pessima esperienza: ZONA BRUTTISSIMA. Doveva chiamarsi PORTOAFFITTI, perchè è al porto non al politeama. La via è poco illuminata, sporca e con brutta gente. Proprio sotto l'immobile, inoltre, c'è la sede della CURVA SUD del Palermo, quindi prove di CORI con TAMBURI fino a mezzanotte. I proprietari sono delle persone senza cuore e che pensano solo ai soldi. ATTENZIONE, infatti, al contratto: fanno in modo di incastrarti e farti firmare un contratto unico per tutto il periodo. Scoppiato il covid ho PERSO l'intera cifra per soli 20 giorni di permanenza e nonostante una ricevuta di caparra firmata dal proprietario non c'è stato verso di riavere o scontare la cifra. NON C'E' MODO DI RICONTATTARLI, ricorrono, infatti, ad una persona con cui non hai mai avuto a che fare per dirti che non avrai mai i soldi indietro. ATTENZIONE ANCHE ALLE SPESE: sono gentilissimi ad indicarti tutti i servizi riguardo alla lavatrice ecc e poi ti presentano il CONTO!!!!!!!
MAI SUCCESSA UNA COSA DEL GENERE A PALERMO!!!!! CI SONO MIGLIAIA DI APPARTAMENTI PIU BELLI, NUOVI E VICINI AL CENTRO!
I stayed just before the covid. Bad experience: VERY BAD AREA. It had to be called PORTOAFFITTI, because it is at the port not at the politeama. The street is poorly lit, dirty and with bad people. Furthermore, just below the building there is the headquarters of the SOUTH CURVE of Palermo, then CHORES rehearsals with DRUMS until midnight. The owners are heartless people who only think about money. ATTENTION, in fact, to the contract: they make sure to lock you in and make you sign a single contract for the entire period. When the covid broke out, I LOST the entire amount for only 20 days of stay and despite a deposit receipt signed by the owner there was no way to get back or discount the amount. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM, they resort, in fact, to a person with whom you have never had anything to do to tell you that you will never get your money back. ATTENTION ALSO TO EXPENSES: they are very kind to show you all the services regarding the washing machine etc. and then they present you the ACCOUNT !!!!!!!
NEVER HAPPENED ANYTHING OF ITS KIND IN Palermo !!!! THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF MORE BEAUTIFUL, NEW AND CLOSE TO THE CENTER APARTMENTS!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not just rooms, but elegant apartments! My wife was very happy with it. The owner was great and the staff helpful. The location is very traditional, I truly enjoyed the typical open market and its great food. Safe area and very central. Great experience, highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pension is in the city. You reach la via Roma ot other important streets in few minutes - ladys: via Roma=shopping street. You go 10 minutes to the station for the shuttle buses to Punta Raisi! The Hotel director is very friendly, helpful and introduce the staff of palermo. The room is very smart, build typical sicilian. You have all useful tools to cook. It's clean. The atmosphere is very nice. The price is absolutely ok for the service. Book for you next trip to Palermo the appartment.

As a part of the group, I have no idea about the price, but experience was bearable, compared to the city even nice. A guy who runs the place does not speak any English so make sure to bring a guide or learn a few phrases. Unlike usually in hostels, you still get people opening your door in the middle of the day randomly, so be aware of that while you’re getting ready or whatever it is that you might think you’re doing in private. Pipes in our bathroom leaked on at least two devices but not drowned us so I guess it’s alright too. Welcome basket and some books on the shelf there also left a nice touch to our stay and helped us not to starve after a long bus ride or get bored for those who had nothing to read.
The best part about the place is a fully functioning kitchen with great pans and pots and even salt if you’re lucky (we had to borrow from a neighbor). WiFi only works randomly and in a few spots. Like now I have to literally sit next to the door to upload this.
Checking other reviews: not so clean but not also that dirty and there’s a mop if you want to clean stuff yourself. Street is very loud, quite hard to sleep (daily but especially fri and sat) so make sure to at least bring earplugs
