There is no possibility to buy a ticket, not even from a vending machine. It must be purchased on the train (by informing the head of the train).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho trovato un membro dello staff Trenitalia a non si sa far bene cosa in una stazione usata pochissimo ma i biglietti non li vende e non c'è neppure l'emettitrice automatica. Bah....
I found a member of the Trenitalia staff to not know how to do well in a used station very little but the tickets do not sell them and there is not even the automatic issuing machine. Bah....
