Beautiful house! Huge pool! Quiet and pleasant. A place to remember !!!!

The house is wonderfully situated. Great views, very large swimming pool - comfortable. A real rural / Tuscan house - This is its advantage and disadvantage at the same time: On the "+", he is above all a very nice host who looks after him every day, you can order local wine from his own vineyard and real olive oil, he is always smiling and nothing is a problem for him, he creates a very friendly atmosphere. A large area, places for cars, despite the fact that it is a hill, it is possible to drive to the house from each side, summer dining room in front of the house, bicycles, summer laundry, a real bread oven and ready chopped wood. The swimming pool, in addition to the automation, cleaned by the owner every day, lots of sunbeds, umbrellas and tables at the pool, but the shower is a little defective (just to criticize a bit). A separate additional sunbathing terrace for privacy next to the pool. The location of the house, away from others, thanks to which there is peace and quiet, no one is disturbing and no one is disturbing. The house is kept quite original, you can feel that you are in the real Tuscany. It is large, spacious, individual people living in different parts of the house can maintain a lot of privacy (rooms separated by corridors, separate bathrooms, two kitchens, separate entrances to the house and garden exits, as well as separate terraces / gardens) - in fact it can be divided for two separate families. But…. And here the "-": the home decor leaves a lot to be desired - lots of porcelain dolls (we thought they were sisters of the famous horror movie "Annabelle"), plus an artificial rooster and a cat - these elements should disappear. Lots of other impractical decor items (vases, bowls, artificial flowers) that mess and disturb the landlords. All decorative elements are unfortunately a habitat for dust and local small "tenants". The climate of a country house is also consistent with the fact that the house is not cleaned thoroughly, so we do not recommend it for families with small children or people who are sensitive to dust, which is everywhere in this type of house - some parts of the house are over 100 years old. We were also caught there by some bad weather and a decent downpour with hail, which showed another, minor disadvantage - the roof was leaking in several places, but the happiness of buckets and bowls was not missing and flooded us. Despite the (aesthetic) flaws, we loved Poggio Velluto a lot, and the ugly dolls we suspected of having criminal intent were immediately locked up with their dresses in a black box and spent the whole two weeks there and managed to avoid casualties throughout our stay. We recommend this house, we give a positive overall opinion, but I would like to point out that the above-described disadvantages were for us more reason to joke than worry, although for people who are too aesthetically sensitive, we definitely do not recommend it, everyone else will spend a fantastic holiday there.
