g	giovanna albanese trigona on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hospitality as always with Planeta. We were a group of 10 and had a tasting of exquisite wines paired with local delicacies. Elena received us and showed us the beautiful palmento and the surrounding vines, she then guided the wine tasting and made us have a wonderful time. The attention to details and the refined taste of the family is also shown by the presence of beautiful contemporary artworks. During the summer season check out the "Sciaranuova Festival - Teatro in Vigna", curated by contemporary authors directly on the spot in a natural amphitheatre in the vineyard.
T	Timothy Lakata on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our wine tour and light lunch. Tour was great and very informative from clearly passionate staff. We had a tasting after and then a "light lunch". It was excellent! And we were stuffed! All you can eat pasta and wine for lunch, salad, then followed by amazing fresh figs from the property and pastries. Well worth the 35 Euros and a memorable experience. Thank you Planeta! Take your time getting here(leave early) and enjoy driving the countryside. It is part of the wonderful experience! So many wonderful vantage points to take pictures and take in the sights. Enjoy!

They gave us so much information on all different verities of grape and the wines that they make as well as the geological areas of Mt Etna. Left feeling very informed on Wines from this region. You have to book to do a tasting so ensure you call or email a few days in advance. It was easy to get to off the main highway too! I would highly recommend as a first stop for a base knowledge on Sicilian wines! Thank you Planeta.

Planeta makes great vines and one of the best vine tastings, special thanks to ladies, they did perfect job. From the new, i found rose from planeta is a remarkable one in rose world))
G	Grzegorz Dziedzicki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully located vineyard with one of the best wines from the region. What totally stands out is the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Elena, our host was able to enchant with her great knowledge and personal charm. The wines were coming from different locations in Sicilly but the ones from Etna won the grand prix. We had a light two course lunch followed by a nutty dolce, which was a great follow up from a variety of antipasti accompanying the tasting. Fantastic way of spending your afternoon in the region!
A	Alex Alfano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I did the Sicily Grand Tour at Planeta Sciaranuova while on our honeymoon this week and I cannot speak more highly about our experience. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone visiting Sicily to take a tour at this winery. Elena was the loveliest host and gave us an absolutely outstanding experience. I would come back just for her. We toured the vineyard, had some of our tastings in their gorgeous tasting room, apertivo in another gorgeous building along with other tastings, followed by an exceptional lunch. My husband and I couldn't stop smiling the entire time, we loved everything they served/offered us. We left with multiple bottles of wine (some unlike anything I've ever tasted) and the best olive oil I've ever had in my life. Clearly we adored our experience. Thank you, thank you, Elena and Planeta Sciaranuova!
C	Charles Best on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful time we had at Planeta Sciaranuova. We came to Sicily to begin our research for our next book "Flavour with Benefits: Sicily & Calabria." This is our third visit to a Planeta establishment on this trip. Earlier we had spent three night at Planeta's Palazzo Palermo (5 stars) and two nights at La Foresteria Estate near Menfi (also 5 stars). Thanks to Alessandro at Planeta for setting up our wine tour with the lovely Elena at Planeta Sciaranuova (see the amazing rainbow picture attached) and for also suggesting the excellent Il Picciolo Etna Golf Resort & Spa for a two night stay. The wine tour was very informative (thanks Elena!) and we made some new friends from the Netherlands. We also had the amazing experience of seeing and feeling one of Mt. Etna's eruptions on the day of the wine tasting. Thank you Planeta and Mt. Etna! Enjoy the pictures!

We were greeted and toured by chief winemaker at the moment, and after that had some picnic outside. All of their wines are "must try" especially sparkling ones. So refreshing. Olive oil as well, one of the best.
