★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once someone told me, in a real italian Restaurant you'll feel like at your grandmothers place. Well, there we go. I had such a blast that one evening at Pizzeria Trattoria Colibri. The staff was so charming and friendly, they spoke very good english and hey i'll tell you - the food was simply amazing for a very appropriate price. If i am going to be around there, i'll spend again an evening there :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our way down to Rome, we decided to escape the horrible Auto Grill gas stations and go for a decent lunch. One of the first exit after the Swiss border brought us to the Colibri. This little restaurants interior is all in green, a little over the top but still nice. We ordered four Pizza menus (9€ with beverage and coffee) and were blown away by how good these were. Super thin crunchy crust, and a perfect mix of sauce, cheese and spices. Absolutely worth a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely one of our best experiences in Italy. Our hosts, husband and wife, were just charming. And we learned that they had been to NZ running restaurants in Auckland where we live! They could not have been more helpful and opened up for us even though they were closing as we arrived. The restaurant was absolutely delightful, beautiful and so decorative. Quite unique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice Italian food. Very nice staff, we had good laugh. Good wine, nice beers and fast service. Only downside is the road next to the outside seating area, but it didn’t bother us at all.

The food is still as good as last year.
