★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely swimming pool with a cafe and outdoor terraces. It's €8 per adult for a day ticket (+ €4 for a sunbed). You can spend a whole day here. It is very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely outdoor pool in Florence, away from the main tourist areas. Reasonably priced, along with the cafe. A great way to relax after a long day exploring the city. You must wear a swimcap in the pool (rules in Italy) but these are available to purchase at the pool itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great. Beautiful setting. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. In the middle of a central park. Ideal place to just swim in a clean pool and chill in the sun. Has an upmarket feel to it. There is a bar and a restaurant on site. Also bicycle hire. You cant swim without a cap and you need to show ID to get in. Easy to get here on tram from outside the train station plus a 10 minute walk through the park. Staff friendly. Just what you need to break up the tourist routine.
