No complaints, usual queue for passport control but no worse than other airports. Excellent shuttle service into main city train station. I arrived in the evening so not busy at all.

It is a small airport. Service was smooth, nothing that I can elaborate on. However the public connection (Pisamover) is quite a expensive solution for couple of minutes ride. The taxi is also expensive (for 4 minutes). But if your are travel in group, it’s cheaper to share a taxi (7-9€). Otherwise you can actually walk as it is only 15 minutes from the town.

It seems quite nice till you get through security and then there is nowhere enough seating for the amount of flights running. Also the food is terrible and my flight was delayed and there was no information until about 20mins before boarding so had to just hang around in front of one of the screens. Least favourite airport!

What a lovely little airport... very inkeeping with everything you imagine Pisa (and its airport) to be. Everything you need without the faff.. although be prepared for queues at the cafe.. we got through with the minimum of fuss..

Worst airport I’ve ever been too - twice. Never again. Once you go through ticket machine expect over crowding, and a slice of pizza if your lucky. If you’ve any food sensitivity make sure you arrive full or bring supplies. Flights always delayed and always some problem. Phone chargers don’t work either so bring a fully charged battery pack. Make sure to check that there is a train/bus service if you’re arriving late. Staff at train ticketing very unhelpful.

My experience was awful and very poor. We arrived at Pisa at midnight, the flight was late and after long queue at the immigration check-in we went out from the airport looking desperately for a travel service for take the train from Pisa to Florence. The airport has no one instructions for turists like us to take the "Pisa mover" to arrive at Pisa and the Pisa mover was out of service. We end out with take another ticket of 25€ each for take a bus for Florence waiting for 1h and half and even the bus was late! For returning back to the airport was even worse! Our flight for returning back to London was at 6am in the morning and we had to take a train at 00:40 because no bus or any travel service to the airport was available ?. So after arrived to Pisa Central we realized that the Pisa mobile to take us to the airport was out of service! We end out walking at the cold at 2:30 of the night and the silly thing is that we found the airport closed and we had to wait outside the building for more than 2 hours. I'm shocked. Never see something terrible as this experience. I would rate this with zero stars and I will never come back there.

Avoid this place like the plague. If they had 1/10 of the passengers as they have it would be reasonable for a normal airport. Very few options to eat in the terminal and Nowhere near enough seats or space. All of the flights when we were here seemed to be late. If the ground crews are as organized as the terminal, I can see why. The whole place just kind of reminds me of a mosh pit.

After clearing security (which can be delightfully smooth if you’re lucky) there are next to no comforts in the general boarding area. The lounge β€œtemporarily” closed in January and has remained shut since, with only two small eateries available beyond that (with only a handful of tables each) so you’re stuck sitting on a bench or floor whilst waiting to board. I can’t recall seeing the duty-free shop post passport control being open either. There is a new terminal under construction, but till that’s ready you might be best off waiting to clear security after checking in and remain in the public eatery which has an OK terrace till you get closer to boarding (but don’t risk it!).
