R	Rosanna “Rosy” Rosy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Pieve di S Stefano di Sorano è davvero molto bella, non si può non notarla per la sua antichità e bellezza. La chiesa e dell'epoca romanica, la zona era punto strategico a quei tempi. Vi sono state ritrovate sette statue stele. La sua struttura conserva ancora oggi l’impianto del secolo XII, capolavoro architettonico romanico, con un importante struttura absidale realizzata interamente in pietra arenaria, cioe ciottoli di fiume non squadrati e messi in opera con abbondante malta.Vi sono conservati numerosi elementi medievali e due statue stele. La Pieve è citata a partire dal secolo XI nei documenti della Diocesi di Luni. Vi è stata anche un un'importante ristrutturazione durata fino agli anni 2000. La pianta è a tre navate, con la navata centrale maggiore e altre due laterali e il presbiterio. La facciata ha un Rosone e alcune aperture.La controfacciata interna di sinistra, in angolo, le statue stele Sorano I e Sorano V, rinvenute nell’area della chiesa. Gli interni presentano archi che poggiano su pilastri rotondi con brevissimi capitelli incisi. Sul lato sinistro vi restano alcuni archi in muratura settecenteschi inseriti tra quelli romanici. Una chiesa davvero ricca di storia, davvero bella! The Pieve di S Stefano di Sorano is really very beautiful, one cannot fail to notice it for its antiquity and beauty. There was also an important restructuring that lasted until the 2000s. The plant has three naves, with the main nave and two more lateral ones and the presbytery. The façade has a rose window and some openings. The left internal counter-façade, in the corner, the stele statues Sorano I and Sorano V, found in the church area. The interiors feature arches resting on round pillars with very short engraved capitals. On the left side there are some eighteenth-century masonry arches inserted between the Romanesque ones. A church really rich in history, really beautiful!

La Struttura è in ciottoli di fiume e dall'esterno si può ammirare, l'abilità nel costruire questo capolavoro semplice,ma allo stesso tempo unico A really beautiful church. T	Tyamat Photographer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa accessibile in maniera gratuita e dotata di un vasto parcheggio sul retro ( dove tra l'altro c'è l'accesso al cimitero). Molto suggestivo entrarci dentro, peccato per la mancata possibilità di arrivare fino in fondo alla navata. Sull'esterno c'è inoltre la possibilità di intraprendere diversi sentieri di trekking. Infine sempre sul resto si trovano diverse sculture antiche di valore storico. Consigliata la visita. Beautiful church accessible for free and equipped with a large parking lot at the back (where, among other things, there is access to the cemetery). It is very suggestive to enter it, too bad for the lack of possibility to get to the end of the nave. On the outside there is also the possibility to undertake various trekking paths. Finally, always on the rest there are several ancient sculptures of historical value. Visit recommended.
