★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Treschietto è un paesino composto da più frazioni posto alla base del monte Sillana dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano. Come tutti i paesi montani dell'alta Lunigiana, è oggi ridotto ad una popolazione di qualche decina di residenti. E la chiesa, di nuovo come tutti i paesini montani, è sempre chiusa, viene aperta ai fedeli solo in occasione della messa settimanale o per la sepoltura dei defunti. Oggi purtroppo le vocazioni scarseggiano ed un sacerdote è costretto a seguire più parrocchie, in qualche caso anche una decina. Il paese è ben tenuto e le case per lo più ristrutturate. Peccato per il castello ridotto ad un rudere e la torre che mostra in più parti squarci nelle mura.
Treschietto è famosa per la coltivazione della cipolla, con una varietà coltivata da sempre e che si presenta tenera, carnosa ed un gusto poco pungente che non fa lacrimare.
Treschietto is a village composed of several fractions at the base of Sillana upstream of the Apennines. Like all the mountain villages of the high Lunigiana, it is now reduced to a population of a few dozen residents. And the church, again like all the mountain villages, is always closed, is open to the faithful only for the weekly mass or for the burial of the dead. Today, unfortunately, scarce vocations and a priest is forced to follow more parishes, in some cases ten. The village is well maintained and the houses mostly renovated. Too bad for the castle reduced to a ruin and the tower that shows more parts in the walls.
Treschietto is famous for the cultivation of onions, with a variety that has always been cultivated and which is tender, fleshy and has a slightly pungent taste that does not cause weeping.
