Se avrete pazienza di visitare i sotterranei e di leggere l'opuscolo informativo, scoprirete una chiesa ricca di storia e di avvenimenti, probabilmente, anzi certamente l'edificio tra i più antichi della città. It certainly deserves to be visited, along with the nearby Cathedral. Looking perhaps gaunt, but don't be fooled. If you have patience to visit the dungeons and read the information brochure, you will discover a church rich in history and events, probably, indeed certainly, one of the oldest buildings in the city.

R	R C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Penso che sia la chiesa più bella di Sarzana e nel complesso non è assolutamente male. Ben tenuta, pulita, ordinata e curata bene. Piuttosto grande e discretamente spaziosa. Non sfigura affatto. Ne consiglio una veloce visita. I think it is the most beautiful church in Sarzana and overall it is absolutely not bad. Well maintained, clean, tidy and well cared for. Rather large and fairly spacious. It doesn't look bad at all. I recommend a quick visit.
F	Fabio Terenzoni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra le belle opere che vengono conservate al suo interno da vedere ed apprezzare sicuramente con attenzione si trova il grande fonte per battesimo costruito in marmo e legno. Esso risale alla fine del secolo XVI ed inoltre è degno di essere apprezzato anche l organo che è collocato in controfacciata alla fonte battesimale, che risale come periodo agli inizi del secolo XVII. L edificio aveva una originaria struttura che aveva tre navate ed è stata ricostruita in base agli scavi archeologici eseguiti intorno all anno 1970. Sotto l attuale pavimento si possono visionare questi antichi resti scendendo una scala. La chiesa Pieve di Sant Andrea è segnalata con documenti a far data circa dall anno 1137 ed è intitolata al patrono della città di Sarzana. L edificio è stato rimaneggiato durante il corso dei secoli XIV e XVI con ampliamenti ed innalzamenti fino a raggiungere ed assumere le attuali forme che si possono oggi apprezzare durante la visita???☺️?? Among the beautiful works that are kept inside to be seen and appreciated with attention is the large font for baptism built in marble and wood. It dates back to the end of the 16th century and the organ which is located in the counter-façade of the baptismal font, which dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, is also worthy of appreciation. The building had an original structure that had three naves and was rebuilt on the basis of archaeological excavations carried out around 1970. Under the current floor you can see these ancient remains by going down a staircase. The Pieve di Sant Andrea church is reported with documents dating from around 1137 and is dedicated to the patron saint of the city of Sarzana. The building was remodeled over the course of the 14th and 16th centuries with extensions and elevations until it reached and assumed the current forms that can be appreciated today during the visit???☺️??

Una volta fu anche una fornace da Campane risalente al XII Vi è anche una Cripta e una Pietra Tombale del XII, ci sono anche tele e sculture. Ha un grande organo posto sopra l'entrata. E un battistero molto importante in marmo e legno risalente al XVl. Molto bello e interessante il portale d'entrata.
