We made a bike ride from Ameglia campsite "Camping River". When we arrived at the top of the castle and walked through the small streets, we accidentally discovered this almost unremarkable church. Beautiful old bells in the tower, which sound very sweet at full hour, are a beautiful sight. But first you go in, you are almost overwhelmed by the beauty. On the right side, I discovered in a box, three skulls with partially adjacent bones. It was a bit scary, so I shivered. The ceiling is impressively painted, everywhere are golden ornaments. The altar is decorated, so you really do not know where to let your eyes wander. There is something nice to discover everywhere. I'm glad we discovered you. It's definitely worth a visit. Admission is free. The way there is unfortunately not barrier-free.

The parish church of S. Vincenzo Martire is a church rich in history. Dating back to the 15th century it was then rebuilt in 1932. On the facade which has been recently repainted, we can find a beautiful rose window, the edge of the roof has a crenellated decoration, above the portal, there is a marble bas-relief with the Virgin and Child. The interior is divided into three naves with its beautiful presbytery. There are important works of art, a Dimenico Gar triptych from 1527 representing the saints S.Rocco, S.Vincenzo, S.Sebastiano and the annunciation. There is also an important painting of 1677 of the Madonna and Child with Saints Lorenzo, Giovannino and Apollonia. The ceilings are very beautiful with frescoes. The arches are worked with beautiful decorations. The bell tower is left unfinished perhaps to create a contrast also the bell tower with a white mwrlato edge, an ancient clock and beautiful bells. Really a beautiful church with a beautiful square in front and a splendid view over the valley!
