 The cable car is convenient and you reach the center comfortably without the hassle of parking, but everything else leaves something to be desired.

Dismessa per decenni in favore del trasporto su gomma e di recente riattivato seppur con discontinuità, permette di accedere alla città in soli 3 minuti. Piazzale della stazione a valle ampio ma non curato. Comunque, la funicolare, usufruisce di regolare manutenzione. Da utilizzare assolutamente. Costo biglietto 1.5 € parcheggio incluso.
Historical means of access to the high part of Catanzaro. Decommissioned for decades in favor of road transport and recently reactivated albeit with discontinuity, it allows access to the city in just 3 minutes. Del resto tutta Catanzaro è così: i servizi pubblici al minimo, se non fosse per le persone che cercano di fare qualcosa in più la città sarebbe più invivibile di quanto è. Tre stelle per il personale e perché la funicolare è comoda
A very simple station. Buy the ticket, wait and leave. No service (bar or other). The staff is nice. After all, all of Catanzaro is like this: public services to a minimum, if it weren't for people trying to do something more, the city would be more unlivable than it is. Three stars for the staff and because the funicular is comfortable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Servizio valido, pratico ed efficiente. Consigliatissimo per non entrare nel gorgo del traffico Catanzarese coi suoi sensi di marcia invertiti? ?? Nella stazione di VALLE c'è un grandissimo parcheggio, I servizi igienici,la biglietteria e il montacarichi per i disabili che nn possono salire le scale per accedere al CONVOGLIO. Nel prezzo unitario di 1.50€ sono compresi parcheggio(senza limiti di tempo), A/R su funivia e un viaggio su Bus per muoversi in città.
Valid, practical and efficient service. Highly recommended not to enter the confines of the Catanzaro traffic with its reversed driving directions sensi ?? In the VALLE station there is a huge parking lot, toilets, ticket office and freight elevator for the disabled who cannot climb stairs to access the CONVOY. The unit price of 1.50 € includes parking (no time limit), round trip on the cable car and a trip by bus to get around the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Né infamia né lode. Un servizio di collegamento tra il sud della città e piazza Roma. Sicuramente comodo e preferibile agli autobus. Se si chiudesse il corso al transito delle auto fino a piazza prefettura e si estendesse il percorso della fu tramvia sarebbe il massimo (certo....non per tutti... giacché la maggior parte dei catanzaresi preferisce entrare con le auto fin dentro i negozi).
Neither infamy nor praise. A connection service between the south of the city and Piazza Roma. Definitely comfortable and preferable to buses. If the course were closed for the transit of cars up to piazza prefettura and extended the path of the former tramway it would be the best (of course ... not for everyone ... since most of the people of Catanzaro prefer to enter shops).
