M	Maria Pia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella pizza con fontana nel centro storico di Asti. Sulla piazza si affaccia la torre Troiana denominata anche torre dell'orologio, uno dei simboli della città. La fontana dell' acquedotto è stata realizzata nel 1908. Intorno alla piazza sorgono dei bei edifici antichi che rendono ancora più interessante la piazza. Due nei : transito e parcheggio auto ( sarebbe bello se rientrasse nell'isola pedonale come da programma dell'attuale giunta) e palazzo ove ha sede , tra l'altro l'ACI in stile anni 60-70. on three sides one of the most beautiful squares of Asti, Torre Troyana on one side, at the center of a monument built to celebrate the construction of the aqueduct. Two in: transit and car parking (it would be nice if it re-entered the pedestrian area as planned by the current junta) and the building where it is based, among other things, the ACI in the 60s-70s style.

Quello che mi ha sempre colpito della piazza è questa bellissima statua della fontana che ha sempre rapito la mia attenzione,ammirandola nel minimo dettaglio(bellissima). E che dire della torre troyana,eccellentemente conservata,visitabile e in un determinato periodo si può fare un aperitivo in cima alla torre. Insomma vistate Asti perché merita molto. Dovrò approfondire la storia di tutto quanto per poterla recensire molto meglio. A	Antonio Masia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Più che piazza Medici abbiamo percorso via Vittorio Alfieri dove c'era il mercatino di Natale di Asti che si snodava lungo quasi tutta la via ed in alcune piazzette adiacenti. Molto caratteristico e ben distribuito, con tutte le casette addobbate a festa anche se, non tutte avevano da vendere gadget e opere inerenti il Natale ma in molte si vendevano prodotti locali e comunque mangerecci, compresi i bomboloni e la cioccolata calda con il vin brulé. Carino, da passarci sicuramente un pomeriggio. More than piazza Medici, we walked along via Vittorio Alfieri where there was the Asti Christmas market which ran along almost the entire street and in some adjacent squares. Very characteristic and well distributed, with all the houses decorated for the party even if not all had gadgets and works related to Christmas to sell but many were selling local products and in any case eating, including donuts and hot chocolate with mulled wine. Nice, definitely worth spending an afternoon there.
