L’aspetto urbanistico della piazza più importante del capoluogo vestino, dedicato alla memoria dell’insigne giurista medioevale Luca Da Penne, ha subìto nel tempo notevoli trasformazioni, in particolare dopo i bombardamenti della seconda guerra mondiale che ne sfregiarono irrimediabilmente il volto rinascimentale - barocco. La piazza ospita il palazzo del Comune, una bella fontana, bar, negozi vari e l'ascensore che porta al parcheggio auto sottostante.
 Piazza Luca da Penne has always been the hub of Penne's cultural, economic and religious life. The urban aspect of the most important square in the capital of Vestino, dedicated to the memory of the distinguished medieval jurist Luca Da Penne, has undergone considerable transformations over time, especially after the bombings of the Second World War which irremediably damaged its Renaissance-Baroque face. The square houses the Palazzo del Comune, a beautiful fountain, bars, various shops and the lift that leads to the car park below.
