In this rainy period I was there only to look for my lost dog.The square is nice, it lends itself to various kinds of events, it is tidy, clean and the greenery is well kept.

Sulla targa con il nome della piazza è riportato un verso di una canzone di De Andrè "Dai diamanti non nasce niente, dal letame nascono i fiori". Dalla piazza si accede anche alle cripte del Duomo, unico sito archeologico di Giarre. Su una lapide è riportata la data 1720.
It is a picturesque, central but secluded square that lends itself to cultural events. On the plate with the name of the square there is a verse from a song by De Andrè "Nothing comes from diamonds, flowers grow from manure". The square also leads to the crypts of the Cathedral, the only archaeological site in Giarre. The date 1720 is written on a plaque.
