★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am in Siena for one month, and they let me join for a month, waiving the initiation fee. (Total cost was 65 euros for one month; if I wanted to take classes it would have been 75 euros). There’s a good selection of equipment and weights. When I first went in the evening bit was full of very muscular guys, but in the morning there are fewer people and many older ladies, who all attend an exercise class that’s in a separate room. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only grievance is that the locker room and showers smell of mold.
