G	Graham Bayne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place to avoid, poor quality food and over priced. We rarely find such poor food here in the south of Italy. The fave and ciccoria soup was unseasoned and bland. The "tapas" was 3 pieces of bread 2 with poor topping and one with a nice cheese and jam topping. Water in plastic bottle and a poor tasting glass of wine . €20 the lot, I would definitely not return.

V	Valerie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced for sandwiches. We had a small group seated outside to enjoy the view, so on the upside we enjoyed some nice local wine with a pretty panorama. On the downside, service was less than optimal (in a word, it sucked.) Despite having reserved we had to push tables together ourselves; staff repeated ducked behind crates to play on their phones instead of tending to customers -we had to ask three times for bread to accompany a cheese plate that should have already had the bread with it, for example. We had to flag them down for more water, but it didn't arrive and we had to squeeze out from the table to go inside and ask. Sandwiches are okay but the bread tasted day-old and a bit tough. We spent a hefty sum but still service was truly uncaring and unattentive, not at all the norm for a region known for its hospitality. Let's just say that there are better places in Castelmezzano for an authentic Lucanian meal.
