★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good:
-they had fresh fish
The bad:
-they had little to no idea what to do with the fresh fish, it was served in a over condensed salty sauce, thankfully there were potatoes served with it so it was edible
-it is impossible under any standards, in any country that isn’t third world that this restaurant is fine dining. They have plastic patio chairs inside their restaurant and not in a modern cool stylistic way.
-The restaurants decor is tacky and cheap looking, like some one uncultured trying to be fancy.
-the restaurant is literally on the side of a trafficked road so you have the luxury of smelling diesel fumes when the door is opened.
-the pasta dishes were flavourless and soggy
-the food is expensive for what it is and where it is served. I’m surprised given the appearance and manners of the patrons. Many nose pickers along with one gentleman who repeatedly dug into his behind. Again not fine dining when your allowing people to eat there wearing clogs and dirty pants.
-the best for last was our waiter, who we got stuck with because he was the only English speaker. He wire is miserable attitude on his face. He rushed us to order 8 times before my wife told him she would call him over when we were ready. Then to teach us a lesson he didn’t come back for 15min. He tried to over charge us for our fish. If I thought the extra 12 euro would have brightened his passive aggressive miserable melancholy attitude I would have let him keep it but like the deep set wrinkles on his face his attitude was there to stay.
-I really hope to come back to Sicily in 5 years and see this place out of business, bad attitude and food, one or the other can be forgiven but not both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals I've ever had. The traditional fish cooked in Sicilian salt was wonderful. And they had a grouper (cernia) carpaccio that was otherworldly - you could peel it off the plate with a fork and it melted in your mouth. Superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant manager shows his guests the fresh fish available and suggests the cooking style! The service was excellent, as the wine, appetizers, pasta and fish! I would definitely recommend !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh fish, the waiter showed us the catches of today to pick from ?. Starters are really creative, the tasting path and antipasto crudo are a must! For the main you have to see what they caught. Best dinner in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So yummy! Recommend the Sicilian swordfish. We had 2 mains and 2 desserts with wine and was €70. Well worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is off the beaten path, nonetheless it is deservedly often fully booked. The quality and freshness of the seafood is top-notch, as you will witness if you'll have the crudités as starter. Dishes are rich, tasty and perfectly prepared. The pasta with gamberi, pistacchi, pomodorini and bottarga was tasty and al dente.
Price-quality ratio is also very good, staff and the owner are both welcoming and attentive.
We will definitely come back if we will visit the area; it's be also worth a 50-km detour!
