β β β β β The food is really good, serving also and if you sit by the stairs you can get a nice view. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is about the really bad attitude we got. One night we just wanted to drink some wine and eat desert, and they wouldn't let us sit at a table (almost 80% of the tables were not occupied) justifying that we need to eat more than desert. Really guys? It was not our 1st time there.

We were encouraged from the good reviews and booked for dinner. After 2.5h we were still at the antipasto. Very bad service.
I would not recommend it al all.

β β β β β Very bad food! They heated up the mixed fish plate, the ingredients were very poor and the taste was awefull! tourist scam and don't trust the reviews. Its a very bad one!

β β β β β We ate here on our last day of a two week excursion through Siicily. Each day brought another adventure and another amazing dining experience. But Antiche Scale was the best of the best. Perfectly cooked homemade pasta, the eggplant was so good we ordered a second plate of it. and the views of the garden and turquoise blue waters made it even more special. I love this place. Miriam, our server, was wonderful. Truly extraordinary!

β β β β β The tuna steak antipasti was literally soaked in oil! Plus they charged us on water we did not have. The worst restaurant on our trip to Sicily!

β β β β β The food was tasty , however, it is unacceptable that we paid 27 euros for a piece of fish (100-150 grams). The staff did not inform us in advance that we would get so little meat from a fish weighing almost half a kg.
A portion of the fish, not enough for one person, looked pitifully ridiculous on top of the potatoes.

β β β β β Very good food and excellent service. Doesnβt have this kerb appeal but food is delicious. Recommend having tuna with pistachios (one of the starters)

β β β β β The food is so good here that we ended up eating here 3 nights out of 4.
The fried calamari are amazing, we order them everytime.
The pasta is very delicous too. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! The gave us loads of tips as well what to visit in Sicily and what foods to try in other parts of Sicily.
We loved it and weβd be very happy to eat here again.
