A cosy, but really great restaurant. Had dinner with 6 adults and 3 kids. We barely fit inside, but we felt really welcome. Great service and very nice staff. Special menu for the kids. We had some lovely dishes, special to mention: tuna tartare, tuna steak with sweet onions, busciate with sardine, vitallina... They went the extra mile to give us a great time.

If you don’t speak Italian, be warned: we showed up and the moment our waitress asked if we spoke Italian and we said no, she spoke something Into her microphone In Italian to her colleagues and things went downhill from there. Messed up the drink order twice and never corrected it, delivered one of our pasta dishes with the pesto missing, never came and asked about how things were going…but made sure to stop plenty of times at all the Italian speaking tables to check with them. No surprise - i grew up in an Italian family and i am familiar with how this works, but I didn’t expect it at a touristy restaurant. Food was okay - the eggplant parmigiana in particular was delicious while the shrimp was awful. Do yourself a favor and if you’re a tourist, avoid the waterfront restaurants and this one in particular. Eat at Agriturismo hotels that have restaurants within them, they’re MUCH better and priced much more reasonably.

Our B&B and other locals recommended this place. In short: disappointing. Tuna Ragu (nothing can go wrong here really) was ok but served with carrot and melon? is a mismatch. Spaghetti Vongole never tasted so boring. Fried squid and mackerel mostly chewy squid. It's a mystery why locals and visitors recommend this place. Probably a fund raising thing to compensate for the poor location. Our donation: two stars.

The seafood is fresh. Very good service. Location is a bit too touristy. Pleasant experience overall. I had the bufala mozzarella with raw shrimps. It was fresh but the shrimps were at room temperature which makes them a tad unpleasant to eat. They should keep them cool. Then I had the grilled octopus which was fresh but nearly devoid of any seasoning. I added peppers salt that gave it more flavour. They have a Chardonnay by the glass from the region. It was quite delectable. It came to 45 euros for one person including water. Not cheap for Sicily. But this is the high season. Parking is of course a problem in the area. Find a space and just put your car there and hope for the best.

Excellent Busiate with very fresh prawns. Nice dry Prosecco. Wonderful views. Lovely staff. I saw most tables were given a rose bubbly to start but I wasn’t offered one? Will be back again!
