Consigliato!
Pasticceria Massimo for me is sweetness, in every sense. I have always found a lot of quality, courtesy and hospitality and for every occasion to celebrate, the cake prepared with care and attention cannot be missing. Furthermore, this place is the perfect place for an excellent breakfast, a coffee break or an aperitif that is different from the usual standard. Recommended!

don't miss this shop while in Milan. Go for the coffee and pastries, stay for a great lunch, leave only after tasting the aperitif -especially their own Crinò 7 vermouth and the bitter Crinò 3.

A bakery, cafe, and bar all rolled into one. What more could you ask for? During the day, they have a wide selection of delicious baked goods that will make you want one of each. They also have a menu for quick, quality bites. Definitely come by for aperativo, or the Italian version of happy hour during which you purchase cocktails and usually get free small bites and snacks. Aperativo is where this place really shines. The brothers that own it are incredibly knowledgable and experimental. They’ll offer you traditional tastes while also providing some new and delicious concoctions. Speaking of the brothers who run this place, the service here is excellent. The first time I came, I felt just like family. The staff was fun, funny, energetic, and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. If you’re not in the neighborhood, consider going a bit out of your way for it. It’ll definitely be worth it.

All customers i saw were wearing masks. In fact the only people not wearing masks/noses poking out were behind the bar. I hope the people that actually made the food take hygiene more seriously than these two idiots. Cakes taste amazing.

A true taste of Milan. Massimo makes his own bitters and vermouth…and it shows. There’s no heavy “syrup” flavor in his drinks. Light and delicious with a bit less alcohol so you can have a 2nd (or 3rd)! While you’re enjoying a drink at the bar, Massimo will tell you all about how he makes his beverages and his love for the Boston Celtics! MASSIMO’S is a “can’t miss” if you’re in the Porta Romana area.
