I’m a sucker for excellent Italian coffee and pastries. When I find a place I like I’m a loyal customer. Since we spend a lot of time in Milan we have a “local” coffee shop within our building which we will love but on the off chance, whilst walking our dog, we tried Marlà. We had always seen queues outside, especially during this pandemic era, so we decided to try it. The coffee is strong but super tasteful, just how I like it and the pastries... well I was surprised as my bar was set high and my expectations were blown away. An amazing place for a quick stop for a coffee and pastry. Highly recommended, even if you have to wait a little while.

Very nice interiors. Amazing patisserie and savoury treats. Coffee was also fairly good.

Underwhelming I liked the fact it wasn’t too sweet and the quality of the chocolate was very good, but overall the flavor combination was not that impressive. In the end it didn’t have a pronounced taste, just some notes of random flavors.

It was OK. I guess if you live close to the place or your hotel is close, its a good idea to go there, otherwise I wouldnt drive a long distance to eat there.

So, any mignon they have that has the "cookie" base is really good. Like the tiramisu which is just to die for, and the rocher is really really good too. I'd say skip the cakes (they're a bit underwhelming compared to the top notch "cookie" base stuff but yea, definitely come here. The coffee's really good too, it's just that it's a bit full and the tiramisu is so popular that if you come too late, there's not going to be any left, so be fast! Just make sure you try the tiramisu at least once before you die.

I ordered the orange( they use blood orange!!) and the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. They are perfect. The croissant, unlike the ones you would find elsewhere, is moist and light. It does not have an overwhelming amount of butter and hence it goes very well with ham and cheese. And the sesame seed on top really sparks! look how beautiful the little sweets are!
