lately i think i have increased the price of the pastries, i got a tray with some babes but they were too drenched in liqueur syrup, they weren't good

Nice pastry but a few days ago I got some babas and I didn't like them so much because they were too soaked to improve

I've been using them for 5 years. Every time I have my birthday, I take a tray of brioche from them to take to work and I often take them on Saturday mornings too. I went for breakfast this morning. I order 2 brioches and while these are being prepared I ask for a latte at the counter. I am asked for the green pass and I am unaware of it. I am asked to wait outside during the preparation phase because otherwise I risk a 400 euro fine (but to order the brioches to take away I could have entered). I go out politely, wait for my croissants, latte macchiato and the rest of the cash and have breakfast outside with 1 degree, but no problem. Dear Mr. Pinton, I understand that you want to respect the law and avoid fines, but this morning you treated me like a dog. I would like to point out that "green-pass required for table service" is posted on your entrance door. Nowhere is it written that it is also required at the counter. If when I return 'not light' that this is also requested at the counter, it will be my concern to call the police and ask for total control of the measures and containment procedure of SARS Cov-2 as per the protocol of your activity. I who do not watch TV, how do I know what is forbidden and what is not if you do not report it anywhere? Obviously you won't see me anymore; it is only you who lose us.

Pinton is the best sweet / pastries shop in Verbania. Try their "bigné al pistacchio". You will find the heaven for your tongue.

There are a few tables inside and you can fully expect a local to pull up a chair at "your" table and start enjoying their colazione at any point. Once you try some of their pastries and coffee, you will get why it is so crowded in there. My fiancé and I loved everything we tried and we wanted to try more but felt the moral obligation to leave and make room for others to enjoy this great pasticceria. Try the warm apple pastries if you can - it is that delightful combination of a warm soft filling and an insanely flaky crust. Cappuccino was not to be faulted whatsoever.
