A	A A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo andati gratuitamente con l'Abbonamento Musei Piemonte...ed è stato una sorpresa! Ringraziamo innanzitutto la signora gentilissima che ci ha fatto da guida e ci ha accompagnati a visitare la gipsoteca dello scultore Troubetzkoj, che non conoscevamo...bravissimo...e molto belle ed interessanti le opere, anche perché ha rappresentato sculture di personaggi famosi! Poi ci accompagnati al piano superiore e partendo da degli affreschi strappati e così "salvati" ci ha pian piano accompagnati nel Novecento dove diversi artisti hanno rappresentato il paesaggio con diverse tecniche, anche un disegno realizzato con la tecnica del pastello secco...che è una rarità in un museo! First of all, we thank the very kind lady who guided us and accompanied us to visit the sculptor Troubetzkoj's plaster cast, which we did not know ... very good ... and very beautiful and interesting works, also because it represented sculptures of famous people! Then he accompanied us to the upper floor and starting from the torn and thus "saved" frescoes he slowly accompanied us in the twentieth century where different artists represented the landscape with different techniques, even a drawing made with the technique of dry pastel ... which is a rarity in a museum! F	Francesco Xodo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo molto interessante che si divide sostanzialmente in due parti: la gipsoteca al piano terra, che espone le sculture in gesso di Paolo Troubetzkoy, artista di origine russa nato però a Intra, e la raccolta di opere pittoriche al primo piano, che espone quadri di paesaggi del Verbano e dintorni. Ho visitato il museo a Novembre e non essendoci nessuno ho avuto la fortuna di avere una gentile signora che mi ha fatto da guida gratuitamente: questo ha reso l’esperienza molto più coinvolgente e interessante. Very interesting museum which is basically divided into two parts: the plaster cast gallery on the ground floor, which exhibits the plaster sculptures of Paolo Troubetzkoy, an artist of Russian origin but born in Intra, and the collection of paintings on the first floor, which exhibits paintings by landscapes of Verbano and its surroundings. I visited the museum in November and since there was no one, I was lucky enough to have a kind lady who guided me for free: this made the experience much more engaging and interesting.

Al piano superiore, oltre a una collezione di grandi affreschi strappati dalle pareti di chiese ormai perdute o di castelli e palazzi privati del circondario, è allestita la pinacoteca con sculture e pitture di noti artisti dell''800 e del '900. Tra questi Luigi Litta, Daniele Ranzoni, Federico Ashton, Eugenio Gignous, Guido Boggiani, Vittore Grubicy, Achille Tominetti, Cesare Maggi, Carlo Cressini, Carlo Fornara, Mario Tozzi, Arturo Martini. Il biglietto d'ingresso costa 5 euro, il ridotto 3 euro. L'ingresso è gratuito per i residenti a Verbania. The collection of chalks by Paolo Troubetzkoy which occupies the entire ground floor of the Landscape Museum is splendid. On the upper floor, in addition to a collection of large frescoes torn from the walls of now lost churches or castles and private palaces in the surrounding area, there is a picture gallery with sculptures and paintings by well-known artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. These include Luigi Litta, Daniele Ranzoni, Federico Ashton, Eugenio Gignous, Guido Boggiani, Vittore Grubicy, Achille Tominetti, Cesare Maggi, Carlo Cressini, Carlo Fornara, Mario Tozzi, Arturo Martini. The entrance ticket costs 5 euros, the reduced 3 euros. Admission is free for Verbania residents.

La mostra permanente su Paolo Troubetzkoy è affascinante, un artista così cosmopolita ma altrettanto vicino alla nostra realtà. La gipsoteca dedicata allo scultore Troubetzkoy è eccezionale così come la collezione di opere pittoriche ottocentesche e novecentesche e la sala degli affreschi del quattrocento . The landscape museum located in Palazzo Viani is a gem. The plaster cast gallery dedicated to the sculptor Troubetzkoy is exceptional as is the collection of 19th and 20th century paintings and the 15th century frescoes room.
