Small Pastry Bar in the historic center of the city. In addition to enjoying a beautiful view outside, which is not bad, the pastry shop offers products of excellent quality. A good coffee does the rest, combined with the friendliness of the owners. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prestigioso bar vicino alla chiesa di San Francesco, gestito in famiglia e con proprietari molto seri e affettuosi.
Il bar all'interno dispone solo di un bancone per consumare in piedi con i pasticcini esposti in un'ampia vetrina, mentre per i gelati e i cornetti ci sono altre due vetrine piú piccole.
Il caffè è buono e nornalmente viene zuccherato dal barista, per cui se lo si vuole amaro bisogna chiarirlo al momento dell'ordine.
I cornetti sono davvero buoni, sono fatti a mano e sanno davvero di dolce artigianale, come ê possibile gustare da Napoli in giú (mentre al nord fanno tutti cagare perchê sono i classici cornetti surgelati e cotti al forno).
I pasticcini sono buonissimi, vanno dalle paste di mandorla al bignè alle torte - anche su ordinazione ed i prezzi sono nella norma e allineati rispetto agli altri esercizi di Cosenza. Essendo di Milano non conosco bene i prezzi normali della zona, ma sicuramente sono molto meno che al nord.
D'estate il bar viene arredato con sedie e tavoli all'esterno per poter consumare la colazione o avere una pausa caffè in tutta tranquillità. Il bar nella settimana di Ferragosto è aperto soltanto mezza giornata.
L'orario di apertura è molto mattutino: già dalle quattro sono operativi cosi chi parte o chi va a lavorare ha la possibilità di iniziare la giornata al meglio.
Per chi viene a Cosenza consiglio vivamente di andarci, anche perchè su trova all'ingresso della cittá vecchia e il personale è molto cordiale.

Prestigious bar near the church of San Francesco, run by the family and with very serious and affectionate owners.
The bar inside has only a counter to consume standing up with the pastries displayed in a large display case, while for ice creams and croissants there are two other smaller display cases.
The coffee is good and normally it is sweetened by the barista, so if you want it bitter you have to make it clear when ordering.
The croissants are really good, they are handmade and they really taste like artisan sweet, as it is possible to taste from Naples down (while in the north they are all shit because they are the classic frozen and baked croissants).
The pastries are very good, ranging from almond pastries to cream puffs to cakes - even to order and the prices are in line with the other establishments in Cosenza. Being from Milan I am not familiar with the normal prices in the area, but they are certainly much cheaper than in the north.
In summer the bar is furnished with chairs and tables outside to have breakfast or have a coffee break in complete tranquility. The bar in the week of August is open only half a day.
The opening hours are very early in the morning: as early as four o'clock they are operational so those leaving or going to work have the opportunity to start the day in the best possible way.
For those who come to Cosenza I highly recommend going there, also because it is located at the entrance to the old city and the staff is very friendly.
