★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasticceria molto piccola che offre anche il caffè quindi spesso superaffollata da persone che bevono caffè e chiacchierano. Quando si entra può succedere di aspettare in un angolo proprio per questo motivo. Non c'è posto e l'esposizione del grande bancone e quello delle torte/pasticcini lo rende ancora più esiguo. Diventa spiacevole e fa perdere tempo.
Da quando hanno il gazebo su strada è più vivibile in quanto molti clienti vanno lì a chiacchierare. Purtroppo via Centostelle è molto trafficata e non abbastanza ampia per non sentirti parte del traffico. Mi dispiace per i proprietari perché questo limita il lavoro. Appena arrivata a Firenze sono andata in pasticceria a bermi un ottimo caffè, come consigliatomi dalla novella vicina di casa.Ho acquistato una torta di compleanno ordinata giorni prima: abbastanza buona. Sono tornata altre volte ma la poca disponibilità, la ressa e la qualità delle torte, buone ma non eccellenti, mi hanno spinto a preferire una famosa pasticceria in Viale dei Mille, non troppo distante ma ottima in tutti i sensi. In dodici anni ci sono stata qualche volta per un caffè solamente. Mi dispiace doverlo dire ma mi sembra corretto dare la mia opinione e, magari spronare in questo modo i proprietari a ritornare alle vecchie materie prime che facevano una grande differenza di risultato. Nota: non mangio bomboloni quindi il mio giudizio lì esclude.

There is no room and the display of the large counter and that of the cakes / pastries makes it even more meager. It becomes unpleasant and wastes time.
Since they have the gazebo on the street it is more liveable as many customers go there to chat. Unfortunately via Centostelle is very busy and not wide enough not to feel part of the traffic. I'm sorry for the owners because this limits the work. As soon as I arrived in Florence I went to the pastry shop to drink an excellent coffee, as recommended by the new neighbor. I bought a birthday cake ordered days before: quite good. I went back other times but the lack of availability, the crowds and the quality of the cakes, good but not excellent, led me to prefer a famous pastry shop in Viale dei Mille, not too far away but excellent in every sense. In twelve years I have been there a few times for just a coffee. I am sorry to have to say this but it seems correct to give my opinion and, perhaps in this way, to encourage the owners to return to the old raw materials that made a big difference in the result. Note: I don't eat donuts so my opinion excludes it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We go regularly as we live a few minutes away. The coffee is always made perfectly and the women at the counter are always friendly. The pastries are also pretty good overall, the bomboloni are worth checking out. Being a professional baker, I can taste that their brioche isn’t made with the most sophisticated techniques, though it’s always fairly consistent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our neighborhood coffee place! You can always count on coffee being great! They’re famous for their bomboloni in the afternoons and their frittelle (carnevale season) aren’t bad either! They have a little outdoor seating area in nicer weather... wonderful for a late afternoon/early evening 5€ spritz!!
