★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After several days of hard search for the best gelateria in Florence I finally found this gem. The pistachio cream ("cremino al pistachio") gives you an unforgettable taste experience and in combination with their signature flavor ("buontalenti") it wants you to visit this gelateria every day, considering its only 2,50€ for a piccolo or 3€ for a medium one can easily afford it (and Pana is for free!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This gelato was definitely tasty, but it still doesn’t compare, in my opinion, to the frigidarium in Rome. However, since they are completely different cities, and i haven’t tried many other gelato places in Florence, I have to say this is quite food gelato. I tried their signature flavor which was creamy and milky. The chocolate wasn’t overly sweet which I appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get out of the Center to get the best gelato. The best of the best, creamiest texture and none of them are too sickly sweet . Take a scoop of ice cream topped with a scoop of cremino and you are in for an indulgent yet delightful treat. Their morning pastries are also of great quality.

I came here everyday when I was Florence as it was recommended by a local and I was dumbfounded by the quality and the service. I will be coming back here again before I die, I must!

You can eat here, drink coffee and enjoy the specific Italian 'noise' ! The place is always full, people coming and going all the time, I like a lot the vibe. I like to spend the morning in this place, I like the coffee and the croissant a lot...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please bring back the American Consulate 200 Years flavor!!! It was so good. This gelateria has all your usual staples plus some important additions like sesame, yellow tomato - in summer, and loads of creamier versions of your all-time favorites. You’ll know them because they will have their flavor followed by the word “cremino”. All their nut flavors are divine and their bacio is great too. Badiani also serves sandwiches, treats, coffee and spritz like other bars. It has long hours, never closes in August, and the flavors and service are reassuringly consistent. The place is pretty much always packed. Indoor and outdoor seating.
