★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per una gita in moto merita una visita. Consiglio solo di fare attenzione alla strada perché a mio avviso è poco curata e presenta molti pericoli per gli amanti delle 2 ruote.
For a motorbike tour it is worth a visit. I only recommend paying attention to the road because in my opinion it is poorly maintained and presents many dangers for 2-wheel lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il passo è attraversato dalla statale 523 che congiunge il comune di Varese Ligure, in provincia della Spezia, con quello di Albareto in provincia di Parma, cui appartengono i territori sul lato padano del passo. (Sentu Cruxe in ligure),.Il passo si trova a 1262 m.s.l.m. sulla dorsale che separa le valli del Panaro e del Secchia, tra il Monte Rovinoso e il Monte Cantiere. Il nome deriva probabilmente dalla cappelletta oratorio che si trova nei pressi del passo presso cui e posta una lapide con incise venti croci e la scritta centocroci. Una strada che parte dalla SS 12 nei pressi della frazione Serpiano raggiunge il passo per poi scendere, dopo aver passato il piccolo villaggio di Centocroci che pur trovandosi già nella vale del Secchia fa parte del territorio di Riolunato, verso Boccassuolo frazione di Palagano. Al passo transita anche l'antica Via Vandelli, una strada militare e commerciale costruita dal Ducato Estense che collegava Modena con Massa ed inaugurata nel 1752, la strada cadde poi in disuso nel '800 dopo la costruzione della più moderna Via Giardini (SS.12) ed è ora percorsa dagli escursionisti.
Motociclisticamente molto interessante unisce Albareto a Varese Ligure attraverso verdi panorami, tornanti e splendide curve. Le ampie curve ed il fondo stradale permettono una guida piacevole e rilassata che lascia il tempo di godere del paesaggio dominato dalla natura.

The pass is crossed by the state road 523 which connects the municipality of Varese Ligure, in the province of La Spezia, with that of Albareto in the province of Parma, to which the territories on the Po side of the pass belong. (Sentu Cruxe in Ligurian), The pass is located at 1262 m.s.l.m. on the ridge that separates the Panaro and Secchia valleys, between Monte Rovinoso and Monte Cantiere. The name probably derives from the chapel oratory located near the pass where a plaque with twenty crosses and the inscription centocroci is placed. A road that starts from the SS 12 near the hamlet of Serpiano reaches the pass and then descends, after passing the small village of Centocroci which, despite being already in the Secchia valley, is part of the Riolunato territory, towards Boccassuolo, a hamlet of Palagano. Very interesting from a motorcycle point of view, it links Albareto to Varese Ligure through green landscapes, hairpin bends and splendid curves. The wide curves and the road surface allow a pleasant and relaxed drive that allows time to enjoy the landscape dominated by nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passo che mette in contatto la Liguria con l'Emilia, infatti si parte da Varese Ligure e si arriva ad Albareto in prov.di Parma.
La strada purtroppo è un po' troppo rovinata, specie nella parte Ligure però molto panoramica. In cima potremmo vedere da molto vicino alcune pale eoliche.
