Great view. A large part of the route has been carved out of the terraced chalk cliffs.

From the Emilian side the road is in bad shape. Going down in the Tuscan one the asphalt improves. I recommend doing it at Poppi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il manto stradale è in pessimo stato, ho visto che stanno facendo dei lavori e spero lo sistemino. La strada è comunque bella da fare per i panorami e per alcune pareti di roccia che si vedono lungo il percorso. Merita una visita, anche se sul passo non c'è nulla.
The road surface is in very bad condition, I saw that they are doing some work and I hope they will fix it. The road is still beautiful to do for the views and for some rock walls that can be seen along the way. Worth a visit, even if there is nothing on the pass.
